About Dr. Chaudhry

Board-certified ophthalmologist Iftikhar Chaudhry, MD, is the director, chief surgeon, and CEO of Suburban Eye Associates, which has three locations in Huntingdon Valley, Jenkintown, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He specializes in glaucoma, anterior segment, cataracts, and LASIK procedures. Dr. Chaudhry’s skills, knowledge, and experience in surgery and private practice have made him well known in his field.

Dr. Chaudhry earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed fellowship training in glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, a teaching hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Committed to staying up to date on the latest medical advances, Dr. Chaudhry is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also the assistant professor of LASIK and Refractive Services at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

When he’s not at work, Dr. Chaudhry enjoys helping those in need by participating in clinics around the world to provide free cataract surgery and treatment for many eye diseases.
